ANNEXE B - HEALTH HERITAGE FOUNDATION ROGRAMS AND CURRICULUM

Today, people not only make themselves sick, they kill themselves. We no longer have our government life and health protection from the big corporations and the commercial farms, we lost our natural instincts for life and health conservation, and we live by our ignorance looking for the magic cure, treatment or diet to restore our lost health, welfare, freedom and our right to happiness.
Unfortunately, things do work this way. The Agriculture Department has become the salesman of the junk food industry, the Health Department the salesman of the pharmaceutical industry, and the Education Department the sponsor of both industries. The junk foods and the drugs are both poisons, and a drug treated person has to get well twice: first of the disease that sent him to the physician, and second, of the disease caused by the drugs prescribed by the physician catalogued as untoward side effects, adverse reactions, allergies, allergic reactions, anaphylaxis shock, iatrogenic disease, drugs addictions and death, all resulting from dosing with the theoretically “safe small dose”.
For this reason, Health Heritage Foundation is presenting a complete program for the well-being of those people who seek freedom from all kinds of therapeutic dependencies, and focus their attention on good education, personal experiences and a healthful life style. It means taking responsibility for our own health, by our own actions, with our own knowledge, and not relying on remedies that cannot remove the causes of our troubles.
Healing is self-healing. The magnificent power and intelligence that constructed us from a fertilized ovum still remain with us. In fact, no one else breathe for us, drink for us, eat for us, sleep for us, exercise for us, get sunshine for us, nor in fact do one solitary thing for us. At best, we can be guided to healthful practices, because only healthful practices built health, prosperity, freedom and happiness, while unhealthy practices produce illnesses, ailments and suffering. Freedom is the breath of the soul. True freedom is the ripened fruit of proper education, experience and intelligence. Freedom guided by knowledge and intelligence, and held to a stern self-discipline will evolve a race of moral and intellectual giants.
Health Heritage Foundation provides the most comprehensive form of freedom. Physically free from aches, pains, ailments and side effects; physiologically free from fear about acute, chronic, degenerative and catastrophic disease that are so prevalent in our society; and economically free from very expensive and unnecessary tests, drugs, vaccines, treatments, diets, surgeries and hospitals.
To achieve these goals Natural Life and Health Foundation – a precursor of Health Heritage Foundation - started to develop since March 1990, the following programs with their specific curriculum designated to challenge other public and private organizations in their search for better health, better quality education, better job performance, and survival into the 21st century competition with the New World Order.
I. COURSES IN NUTRITION & HEALTH SCIENCES
There are many schools in Nutrition and Health thinking in terms of cures, treatments and diets. Almost all are of the same frame of mind that disease is inevitable unless prevented. The test of the truth is this – do they work? That which works is, self-evidently, scientific. That which does not works is, just as self-evidently, unscientific. For this reason we present an entirely different approach. We hold that exuberant and radiant health is normal and natural. We hold that disease, suffering and ailments are abnormal, unnatural and unnecessary. We assert that health can be realized only by healthful living, and that the standards for healthful living have been established in nature by ages. We totally reject the idea of curing. We teach that the whole concept of drugs, treatments, manipulations and modalities are a myth and a crime against humanity. We maintain, and we prove, that organisms are self-sufficient in all aspects of their existence, if their needs are supplied in accord with their biological adaptation, except in accidents and emergencies.
We also assert that disease does not have to be prevented, because disease will not happen unless is caused. Cease to indulge in the causes of disease and disease will not occur. Healthful living begets health, and pathogenic living begets disease.
This simple philosophy started in 1820 with Dr. Isaac Jennings and Sylvester Graham, developed with Dr. Russell Thacker Trall in the 1850s and 60s, and took a Back seat, but never died, with the coming of Pasteur theory of disease causation by germs. Health Heritage Foundation is not a philosophy, is an action, an implementation of this simple and natural philosophy that has prove itself under the most rigorous testing – results! Once you have witnessed the marvelous development of a new born baby which from conception has a healthy start, and the marvelous recoveries from disease under a natural regimen, even from “incurable” diseases of long standing, you will be equipped with the confidence and enthusiasm that will benefit yourself, your family, or even you may think to lunch a successful carrier in the health field.
We invite you to consider an education in Nutrition and Health Sciences regardless of your situation. Any way you look at it, you, your family and your friends will benefit first.
II. SEMINARS IN NUTRITION & HEALTH SCIENCES
The courses in Nutrition and Health Sciences are mostly oriented toward future educators or actual professionals in the healing arts with no Nutritional education or Nutrition was a very insignificant part of their curriculum, to remember their to follow the teaching of Hippocrates – Father of Medicine – when he declared: “Leave your drugs in the chemist’s pot if you can heal the patient with food”.
They will participate in seminars organized by Health Heritage Foundation Chapters all over the country for the general public, schools, churches, business communities, corporations, unions, etc., to help them to get out of the crisis we face today in health and quality education. Time is the essence, and is later than we think.
I will remember everybody that since we are part of Nature, and subject to her rules and laws, we ought to be observant to her methods in our search for truth and answer to our problems. We got too far from Nature and this is the reason these seminars are so important to improve our children nutrition and health before we can start thinking of improving their education and secure the future of our country.
This is a very complex problem because was neglected for a long time, but it is an American problem, a personal, a society and a government responsibility. Once we move these seminars close to our communities and our schools, we can easily discover the causes of our troubles and together we will remove the causes with confidence in our findings, out of the political contest of our bureaucratic system, and out of the special interests interference with our national commitment for a better quality education.
For this reason we urge the Education Committees and the School Districts to experiment these seminars in the related fields of Nutrition and Health Education in one or more schools as a prerequisite for the other reforms recommended by the Department of Education and Governors’ National Conference on Education to discover what we already know, the relations between proper nutrition, improved health and quality education.
III.LECTURES IN PARENTHOOD, CHILD CARE & CHILD EDUCATION
The future of a child is determined by the parents before conception. The first important factor in attaining optimal health – both physical and mental – is the selection of the right parents. But, more fortunate individuals from good stock will pay the price for the violation of natural laws, and less fortunate individuals can achieve their greatest potential in health and education by living in cooperation with nature. Our limitations are governed by three influences:
These three influences together will determine our constitution and our inherent strengths and weaknesses, and will determine the kind of the society we will have:
IV. CLASSES IN ACHIEVING PERSONAL EXCELLENCE
The future of our young generation and the future of every country is in the power of the adult parents, educators, managers, executives, elected officials and government bureaucrats. For the first time in the history of our country – with a few exceptions – we are not leaving a better world for our children, and if we do not make some very important attitudinal changes in order to increase our responsibility and to be a real model for our young generation, we can not expect results.
These classes in “Achieving Personal Excellence teaches how to get from where you are, where you want to be in your personal life, family life, social relationships, and work performance. You will increase your health, your energy and your thinking power. You will develop self-reliance, self-esteem, self confidence, and become self-sufficient in your relationships and interactions with others. You will develop self-mastery and your analytical powers to more readily have insights into understanding situations, and more easily cope with their exigencies.
In short, these classes will give you the guidance in those areas of your life we usually give little effective attention to:
V. WORKSHOPS IN ORGANIC GARDENING
Health is normal and natural to those people who live healthfully. Health is the responsibility of every man and woman entitled by his/her birth to perfect health and happiness achieved through healthful living practices, especially eating practices. The proper foods for man are first class foods, plant foods, grown organically, without chemical fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides. If you can not find organic foods, learn to grow your own foods in your back-yard or in a community garden. Health Heritage Foundation will teach classes in organic gardening, organize demonstration gardens, provide plots for people living in apartments, organize local organic food markets, and teach people how to shop around to get the best value for their money in unpolluted, unprocessed, nutritious foods.
VI. PHYSICAL EDUCATION/FITNESS
Regular exercise is absolutely essential to physical and mental health, and for the restoration of health. Regular physical activity in fresh air, involving all parts of the body, strenuous enough to keep the pulse elevated to around 150 for at lest 20 minutes, and causing heavy breathing at least 5 times weekly, will add years to your life, keep your body free of obstructions and diseases that lead to early aging, and save a lot of money on all kinds of bills. The type of exercise must be chosen according to the results desired and the age, strength, diet and condition of the individual. Exhausting or imprudent exercise can do much harm than under exercise or no exercise.
Exercise improves the tone and quality of every tissue of the body. It accelerates the processes of assimilation and excretion, and the improved metabolism can bring about a dramatic change in the entire organism. Exercise will influence all parts of the body and can increase by as much as 20% the amount of oxygen transported from the lungs to the blood. Exercise improves the bones structure and you are less liable to have breaks.
Ten minutes of vigorous exercise (calisthenics, bicycling, running, jogging, brisk walking, dancing, and weight lifting) adapted and programmed for all ages and physical conditions triggers an increase in the production of the body’s own cortisone by the adrenal gland.
Every program has the last hour reserved for food demonstrations and preparation, and hygienic breakfast, lunch or dinner.
People eat. They no longer eat the foods of our biological adaptation. They eat junk foods, cooked foods, preserved foods, deranged foods, etc. They do not eat because they are hungry. They eat because they are craving for junk foods and because it is time to eat. They do not eat for health, for growth or body maintenance. They eat for entertainment, they overeat, and they eat foods in the wrong combinations. They eat, drink and smoke at the same time. As I said before, hey not only make themselves sick, they kill themselves.
In nature we use to live by our instincts, eat only when hungry, and select only the right foods for us. When we did not have too much education, we lived by traditions and common sense. Today, in our developed society we have no instincts, and no common sense, we have education. But we have no education in Nutrition and Health Sciences.
This is the reason Health Heritage Foundation is paying so much attention on nutrition, diets and foods. Our studies show that in no way we can reform and improve our health, quality education and competition with other countries if we do not improve our nutrition and health education, and start to live a healthful life style.
We think we are the richest country in the world. There is no question about that. But, we are also the sickest country in the world. We are rich only in quantity, not in quality. Ninety percent of our foods are junk foods; nine percent are fresh foods but polluted with chemicals or missing very important nutrients and only one percent are organic or home grown foods. For this reason 99% of the American people suffer in some manner, and 55% suffer with one or more chronic, degenerative or catastrophic disease. Untold millions endure excruciating aches and pains. If we can not help ourselves, nobody will help us. We are abused people. We are witnessing our own degeneration, our own destruction, and our own distinction.
These food demonstrations are complimentary hands on programs you can experiment in your home, to see with your eyes the miracle of living foods, and the disastrous effect of junk foods, wrong combinations and overeating.
